Join us at Cornwall’s Regimental Museum (Bodmin) to commemorate Sir John Moore, founder of the Light Infantry.

“Moore’s contribution to the British Army was not only that matchless Light Infantry who have ever since enshrined his training, but also the belief that the perfect soldier can only be made by evoking all that is finest in man – physical, mental and spiritual”

A memorial volley will be fired at 12 noon to mark 207 years since his death.

We will be portraying garrison life of the early 1800s with musket and foot drill practicing throughout the day so please come along and meet us.
