Spetchley M5 History Comes Alive
Event Navigation
After an even more successful event in 2014, M5 is back in 2015 with the same format of battles, displays and living history that works so well for both the re-enactor and visitor alike.
For two days in August the historic Spetchley House plays host to hundreds of re-enactors representing hundreds of years of History from the Vikings to World War Two.
Enjoy a day in the beautiful gardens of Spetchley Park, just outside Worcester, within easy access of the M5 Motorway, and wander through the encampments of soldiers on campaign.
There are battles throughout the day in two arenas, and the living history camps themselves are open for you to walk through and talk to the re-enactors. You will find uniformed historians with a vast knowledge of their period and they are always happy to talk about their equipment, tactics and lifestyle.
